Restaurant Branding — Good Things

Good Things café and juice bar is located in the trendy up and coming east end Toronto neighborhood of Leslieville. With new condos being built in the area every year, Leslieville is attracting people from all over the city. With the recent opening of the Broadview Hotel just down the street, Leslieville has now solidified itself as a weekend brunch destination in Toronto.

The type of customers that Good Things envisions to be eating at their restaurant are the weekend explorers, people who live in trendy Toronto neighborhoods who venture out into unknown areas of the city for brunch and lunch.

Up until recently, Leslieville has been home to mom and pop shops and historical venues such as the Opera House. We wanted the brand for Good Things to fit within Toronto’s established hip neighborhoods of the west end, a brunch spot that you might typically see in the Junction, Ossington, Dundas West or Parkdale neighborhoods. We designed an identity that has its own unique trendy vibe with a bespoke wordmark that has custom line work and a brand personality and voice to match.

The brand voice

The name Good Things has what we like to call “legs”. The ubiquitous name extends itself to a number of creative executions which allows us such freedom in developing a brand voice.

It is a “Good Time” to open up your restaurant. See what we did there.
